Allpa 35L Travel Pack
Cotopaxi
Allpa 35L Travel Pack
$200.00
Description

This pack is perfectly sized for carry-on convenience, loaded with well-designed features, and tough enough to handle years of use

With thousands of customers’ feedback in mind, Cotopaxi created the second-generation Allpa 35L Travel Pack: a lighter and more durable version of their best-selling backpack system built for all types of exploration.

The Allpa 35L’s shell is made from a blend of tough, TPU-coated 1000D polyester, with durable 840D ballistic nylon paneling. Cotpaxi then adopted the low-profile harness they use for their backpacking packs to create a suspension system that distributes weight and keeps you comfortable through journeys near or far. The system includes contoured shoulder straps for comfort and balance, plus a removable hip belt you can take off when you don’t need it, or for when you’re stowing the pack in tight compartments. A breathable, flexible airmesh back panel and an adjustable sternum strap create an even more comfortable carry. There’s a suitcase-style, full-wrap zipper opening on the main compartment that opens into a large, zippered mesh compartment on the right side and a subdivided zippered mesh compartment on the left. These compartments open outward for easy and organized packing, and now feature an updated zipper gusset to create dynamic compression. This compression makes it easier to zip your Allpa closed when it’s packed tight. Two zippered pockets round out the top.

Padded laptop and tablet sleeves are accessible via the exterior right-side zipper. On the left side, there’s a shortcut zipper that provides access to the main internal compartment, without having to take the pack off your back. A subdivided compartment on the top is designed with passports and other small essentials in mind.

As a security measure, all external zippers feature our theft-proof webbing sewn across the openings. A slotted back panel houses the shoulder straps, ensuring loose ends are a non-issue in overhead bins, on the bus, or in the trunk of cars. Additionally, four reinforced grab handles provide multiple carry points when the shoulder straps are tucked away, and four lash points at the top of the pack allow you to carry more gear. There’s even a rain cover that stows into the pack.

Putting Desert Sheep Back Where They Belong: KUIU Conservation Direct
Few outdoor brands in the hunting space do direct, on-the-ground conservation work like KUIU. Conservation Direct is a program the brand established to make a meaningful positive impact on wildlife populations. In a time when big talk doesnt always lead to big action, KUIU is putting serious money where its mouth is. The companys conservation program is completely funded by...
The Best Headlight Restoration Kits of 2024
Over time, a cars headlights go from crystal clear to cloudy due to age and prolonged exposure to the suns damaging UV rays. Notably, this degradation decreases the headlight output and affects a drivers visibility at night. As headlights age, the yellow and fogginess will affect how much light is projected onto the road. The result can degrade visibility for...
Get Up To Go Down With Our Favorite Enduro Bikes
The goal of an enduro bike might seem straightforward: to go downhill fast and with style without sacrificing all your pedaling efficiency. But slightly different geometry and new tech can dramatically change how each bike achieves that goal. Our five favorite bikes in the category this year are all insanely fun in their own unique ways. Be sure to also...
The 5 Best National Park Road Trips in the U.S.
Here’s the dream: Quit your job and hit all 64 national parks in one huge multi-month road trip where you live mostly in a van and finally see all of these iconic landscapes for yourself. To call that dream unrealistic is an understatement, at least for me, for a variety of reasons (see “quit job,” above), though it’s been accomplished...
The Easiest Way to Stay Sun-Safe Outside
Greasy, sunscreen-coated skin is a discomfort for many outdoor enthusiasts. The oily lotion on your hands makes it hard to grip rock, and the layer spread onto your arms and legs becomes a grit and dust magnet on hiking trails. But the sun doesn’t care what your plans are. If you don’t protect your skin while recreating outside, you’ll pay...
From Skiing to Hiking, One Shell for All Seasons: BEYOND Clothing Drilight Rain Jacket Review
Despite the closet full of ski jackets, touring shells, rain jackets, anoraks, windbreakers, and all the other outerwear I use across seasons and sports, I find the idea of just one jacket for everything all year round alluring. Think of Indiana Jones classic leather bomber — you never saw him swapping jackets for better waterproofing or different ventilation options. Thats...
Not Your Typical Flannel: The Stio Hutkeeper Shirt Review
This heavyweight womens flannel has all the details you’d hope a flannel jacket would have. I said what I said. The Stio Womens Hutkeeper Flannel Shirt is a true shacket. The Hutkeeper is soft and durable, comes in a few color choices, and is made with organic cotton. The shirt also has pockets! While the silhouette looks good, the build...
Where to Find a Last-Minute Campground This Summer
My favorite place to camp is a spot in California’s eastern Sierra Nevada, outside the town of Mammoth Lakes, called the Inn at Benton Hot Springs. The small hotel has a private campground with 12 sites out back, and each comes with its own mineral springs-fed hot tub. You can pitch a tent or park your van on a spacious...
The Best Fishing Hats of 2024
The right fishing hat is a critical piece of gear for a successful day out on the water. While a ball cap might have sufficed in the past, your fishing experience will be better with the sun, wind, and rain protection only a quality fishing hat can provide. That doesn’t mean you have to ditch the familiar ball cap, as...
The Best Beach Chairs of 2024
A perfect day at the beach requires a few important items, one of which is a beach chair, which provides the ultimate spot to sit back and relax. The best beach chairs are portable, easy to unfold and repack, and are comfortable perches on which to catch some rays, read a book, or spend time with friends and family. Beach...
Fanny Packs and Flow Tracks: Mountain Bike Hip Pack Showdown
I waited way too long to succumb to mountain bike hip packs. For years, I hoped the fanny pack fad would fade. Coming from a downhill racing background, I shunned any pack at all costs. I’d strap everything to my bike and stuff my pockets with tools and snacks. Id do anything to avoid something bouncing around on my back...
2025 Subaru Forester Review: Full Redesign Better On Road and Off, but Needs More Power
Subaru doesnt really do new very often. Its not that the company doesnt completely redesign, restyle, and re-engineer its vehicles. Its that those changes are hidden under nearly identical wrappers. The latest Forester is another example of that. The 2025 Subaru Forester shares nothing at all with the previous generation, but if you had told me it was just a...
