Collapsible silicone pot with hyper-conducting base for faster cooking

For the longest time, the choice between silicone and metal pots was a choice between space and speed, between efficient packing and fuel efficiency, but with the Escape HS line, collapsible pots finally grow up. The Escape starts from a collapsible design which saves 53% or more space in your backpack and adds a lightweight, crushproof, strainer lid with silicone thumbpads, dual bail handles which lock the lid in place, molded-in graduations and just the right amount of spare space to nest other Escape tableware items inside. But the real breakthrough which lifts the Escape HS Pots above the pack come from the bottom up, where the hard anodized base is built around an incredible, hyper-conducting heatsink which cooks 30% faster and saves 30% more fuel for even more space savings in your pack.

The Ultimate Guide to Driving the Blue Ridge Parkway
Roads usually leave me lukewarm. I understand they’re necessary, connecting us from points A to B, and they can be cool, but I don’t stay up late thinking about the adventures to be had on a two-lane blacktop. The exception, of course, is a road trip on the Blue Ridge Parkway. I’ve never driven the entire road, which passes right...

Marketing Ploy or Essential? Our Editors Debate The Pee Cloth.
Some pieces of gear are just controversial. Trekking poles, camp shoes, and even fleece jackets have their haters and die-hards. As it turns out, so do pee cloths.
