HD Hexa Tarp Pro Set M
$539.95
Description

Premium sun- and rain-protective tarp with stakes, poles, and hammer

Snow Peak's premium water-repellent hexagonal tarp creates even more protection with the updated Shield process material. This set is the perfect tarp introduction as it includes Solid Stakes, Wing Pole, and Copper Head Peg Hammer. Designed for four people.

The Shield process creates much more protection from the sun than other tarps on the market. The shielding process reduces the light passing through the fabric, and the perceived temperature is lower than the un-processed tarp.

The HD Tarp series is sewed luxuriously using five pieces of fabric, and the seam of the ridge line is offset from the peak. As a result, rainwater flows smoothly and the tarp exhibits high waterproofness. Durable reinforced box stitching at the corners makes this one of the burliest tarps on the market.

Please note, this item is Oversized and does not qualify for free shipping.

Footprint sold separately.

Caitlin Clark Just Won an Award Named for a Man Who Wouldn’t Have Let Her Play
On Tuesday, April 23, basketball player Caitlin Clark was given the James E. Sullivan Award, an honor issued by the Amateur Athletics Union (AAU) to the best amateur American athlete at the collegiate or Olympic level. The AAU is a youth sports league juggernaut with 800,000-plus members, aligned behind the soaring motto, “Sports for All, Forever.” Clark, 22, is a...
The Garmin Descent Mk3i Is the Best Smartwatch for Divers
Here are some features I genuinely never thought I’d see on a watch: subaquatic topo maps; a dive-readiness tracker; underwater text messaging. Shockingly, all of these features exist on the Garmin Descent Mk3i, the most lusted-after top-of-the-line smartwatch and dive computer on the market. After two months of using the Mk3i for running, hiking, and diving, I can confidently say...
The Best Adventures in Minnesota Require a Paddle
There are a lot of ways to experience the depth of a wild landscape: hiking, horseback riding, biking, off-roading. But none offer the same elegance and simplicity as paddling. Which is fortunate, because paddling also happens to be the best way to indulge in the vast solitude of the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness (BWCAW). With more than 1,200 miles...
phaenom Wants to Upend the Ski Boot Market, and It Just Might
It was mashed potatoes at Loveland Ski Resort. Spring conditions were in full effect, with lots of soft corn, slush snow, bright sunshine, and balmy air. The conditions provided lots of variability and some tricky terrain. For a brand new company hoping to grab market share from the giants of the ski industry, the conditions were perfect to prove some...
Patagonia’s ‘The Shitthropocene’: Why Everything Is Sh*t and How We Can Fix the Problem
Its ironic that a brand selling clothes, gear, and apparel would produce a film about why consumerism is ruining the planet. But thats not unusual for the brand Patagonia. Its latest feature documentary, The Shitthropocene, takes a satirical and brutally honest look at our culture of stuff and the problems it has created. You might have noticed that a lot...

I Survived an Avalanche on a Colorado Fourteener
Everything was going according to plan for Trevor Carlson on the north side of Quandary Peak, Colorado, until a group of riders dropped in above Carlson and his group of friends on Sunday, April 21, kicking off an avalanche that buried a member of his party. As more and more skiers enter the backcountry, the risks of them riding in...
