King Solomon 20
$449.95
Description

Like your own bed in the backcountry! The Big Agnes King Solomon 20° is part of the Doublewide Series, eliminating the need to zip two bags together so there’s nothing keeping you apart from your cuddle bug at camp. The new Pad Cinch System makes connecting two pads or securing a doublewide pad easier and faster than ever. Now with a full zip-off option, you can use the top quilted layer like a comforter or zip together to create a single bag when camping solo.

Constructed with recycled materials and insulated with 650 Downtek™ water-repellent down for a cozy and warm top layer, the King Solomon doublewide sleeping bag is the most comfortable sleep experience for two.

Please note, the bottom of this sleeping bag is un-insulated to save weight and packed space. It requires a pad underneath for insulation. Pads and pillows sold separately.

The Best Adventures in Minnesota Require a Paddle
There are a lot of ways to experience the depth of a wild landscape: hiking, horseback riding, biking, off-roading. But none offer the same elegance and simplicity as paddling. Which is fortunate, because paddling also happens to be the best way to indulge in the vast solitude of the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness (BWCAW). With more than 1,200 miles...
Modern Shilin Cutter: Fox Knives ‘Chilin’ Review
I have phases where I become laser-focused on a particular style of knife, knife steel, or handle material. Right now, I am down a rabbit hole with Micarta (green canvas, to be exact). It’s not just the way it looks; it’s also the way it feels and performs in all conditions. In my obsession with this material, I happily stumbled...
Inside the Design Process of CRKT Knives
What goes into designing CRKT knives? Well, it turns out, a lot. In this video, we explore seven unique CRKT models: the Bugsy, MinimalX, Redemption, Provoke, Squid II, and the latest automatic releases, the Michaca and Minnow. We run down the features and specs of each knife and speak with the designers to learn about their process, the intention behind...
Eric Larsen Missed Out on the North Pole Again. He Isn’t Giving Up.
Eric Larsen had been waiting for ten days when his phone rang with bad news from Barneo Ice Camp. The veteran explorer and guide was set to lead the only American expedition to the North Pole in 2024. He and five clients had packed their gear, obtained travel visas, and traveled to Krasnoyarsk, a hub on Russias Trans-Siberian railway, and...
Ford Transit Trail Recall ‘Fix’ Removes One of the Van’s Main Features
Just a month ago, we found out that the tires on the Ford Transit Trail are too big to fit properly under the van. Ford now has a fix to the problem. The company plans to replace the tires on the affected vans with smaller tires, as stated in the NHTSA Safety Recall Report. Ford Transit Trail Recall Fix Tire...

Make Washington Grizzly Again: NPS Will Reintroduce Bears to Northern Cascades
The National Park Service and U.S. Fish Wildlife Service released a Record of Decision today announcing a plan to actively restore grizzly bear populations in Washingtons North Cascades. Grizzly bears were historically a keystone predator in the region, however, according to NPS and USFW, there has been no confirmed evidence of their presence in the area since 1996. Grizzlies have...
Acebeam Terminator M1 Review: Flashlight & Laser in One Small Package
I was a kid working in a camping store in 1997. Princeton Tec launched its first LED module to replace its standard halogen headlamp bulb. I thought I was living in the future. Today, LEDs rule the lighting world, from flashlights and headlamps to home light bulbs. But have you ever heard of LEP? It’s not a big deal if...
Research Suggests Trans Women Don’t Have a Complete Athletic Advantage
In the last few years, women’s sports have been a highly visible arena for the broader cultural and political debate over the rights and inclusion of transgender people. As transgender athletes come out, pursue gender-affirming medical care like hormone therapies, and try to compete in the division that aligns with their gender identity, many sports’ governing bodies have developed policies restricting...
Act Now if You Want a Defender OCTA: V8 Twin-Turbo Hybrid Power, Crazy Suspension
What is being touted as the toughest and most durable model in the Defender family, the Defender OCTA, will be fully revealed to the public on July 3, and a select few a bit earlier. If the latest promo video indicates anything, the Defender OCTA will surely be an impressive machine. So far, we know it will have a gasoline...
Ram CEO Says ‘Tear It Up’: Cringeworthy Off-Road Truck Ad Moment
More and more vehicles are getting the ruggedized treatment and/or being created for real off-road adventures. Advertising around such vehicles continues to push the boundaries of responsible off-road use in the name of hyping a product. I have a marketing degree, so I fully understand the need to show off and build excitement around a new product launch. Im also...
