Description

  Featherlight, highly weatherproof stuff sacks

Hyperlite Mountain Gear designed their DCF11 Roll-Top Stuff Sacks for passionate adventurers who want the most stripped-down, dialed-in, water-resistant system possible. Optimized for the minimalist packrafter, ice or alpine climber or thru hiker, they serve as key organizational tools, helping you separate and easily find food, clothes, toiletries and gear.

They provide a nearly rainproof backpacking system when used in conjunction with Hyperlite's packs, which are also made of bombproof, 100% waterproof Dyneema® Composite Fabrics (formerly Cuben Fiber). Stash your puffy jacket, or keep your wet clothes away from your dry gear. The roll-top closure gives these stuff sacks added moisture protection, so your gear will stay dry in all but the most soaking wet conditions.

  Not submersible.

Footprint sold separately.

Arctic Expeditions Ain’t What They Used to Be: Lonnie Dupre’s Gear Tell-All
Polar explorer Lonnie Dupre has spent the last four-and-a-half decades forging uncharted paths. In 2001, he and John Hoelscher completed the world’s first and only non-motorized circumnavigation of Greenland, covering 6,500 miles on dog sled and kayak. In 2022, Dupre returned to the country to film Amka, a documentary focused on his unique relationship with the Polar Inuit community that...

Camp for Free on Public Land and Beyond: ‘Dispersed Camping’ 101
A few years ago, I didn’t know what dispersed camping meant and had no idea there were places across the country where camping was utterly free. And I wasnt alone. The Impossible Dilemma of a Polar Guide
Though it is night, the ice surrounding us glitters in the sunshine. Only silence and shades of white surround me as I pace the decks. I am on a tourist ship, parked in the sea ice off the coast of Antarctica, for my work as a naturalist. It is 2 a.m., in January. On one side, glaciers drape the mountains,...
The New Public Lands Rule Balances Conservation Against Drilling
For more than a century, the Bureau of Land Management has prioritized the interests of miners, ranchers, and the oil and gas industries in management decisions on the 245 million acres acres of public land for which it’s responsible over conservation and recreation. No longer. Thanks to a new rule issued by the Biden administration, the agency must now balance...

As an outdoorswoman and veteran of multi-day, multi-sport adventure races, long mountain runs, and hundreds of competitive events of all sorts, let me tell you: There is no difference between a successful adventure and mastering a Disney park.
