Description

Minimalist, ultra-lightweight pack for fast-paced ski tours

A minimalist in the ultra-lightweight ski touring backpack segment, the TRACE 25 focuses on the essentials without compromising on protection or comfort.

Fast, lightweight and safe: Weighing only 440 grams, the TRACE 23 S ski touring backpack is made for sweat-inducing ascents and fast descents. The TOUR SERIES sets new standards with its removable 2FOAM back panel: It is soft on the outside for comfort and fitted with firmer foam on the inside to protect against injuries such as those that can be caused by emergency equipment. Another special feature of this lightweight ski touring backpack is its reflective elements, which ensure improved visibility and added safety in the early hours of the morning or the late hours of the evening.

Avalanche equipment can be stored in the main compartment, while also leaving plenty of room for clothes and other material. The close fit also offers the ultimate freedom of movement for ambitious ski tourers. Air-flow shoulder straps also ensure the backpack has good ventilation and the weight is distributed optimally. And for those times when speed is of the essence: The large mesh side pocket with two openings provides direct access to drinks, snacks, and other small items. Additional features such as a diagonal ski carry, ice axe and hiking pole attachments, and integrated helmet net make the TRACE 25 a dedicated ski touring partner.

Sustainable business practices also play an important role when it comes to hardware at ORTOVOX, so their TRACE backpacks are produced by a small business that has been audited by the FAIR WEAR FOUNDATION (FWF) and sets an outstanding example for good working standards in Vietnam.

How does the menstrual cycle impact training and racing?
