Patagonia is bringing its Wader Repair Tour back on the road this spring, offering free fixes for your busted waders, no matter the brand. If you have a pair with leaks, tears, or just some serious miles on them, this is your chance to keep them in the game.

If you are the type to think, I can make it one more season, consider this your sign to stop procrastinating. I dont know if youve seen what it costs to get waders fixed, but it aint cheap. Free fixes are the best fixes.

The repair team will be stopping at fly shops and fishing events across Colorado, Montana, and Utah. While your gear is getting fixed, you can check out live repair demonstrations, pick up some pro maintenance tips, and meet with local conservation organizations.

Patagonia will also be showcasing upcoming fly gear. Patagonia Provisions will be on hand with organic snacks.

The Fine Print One pair per person. Keep it fair. Waders must be clean, dry, and turned inside out before you show up. Repairs are not guaranteed, but the team will do their best. (Photo/Patagonia) Rather than selling you new gear, Patagonia is once again pushing its message that fixing what you have is better than replacing it. A patched-up pair of waders keeps more gear out of landfills and keeps you fishing without dropping serious money on a new set.

At select stops, you can also donate lightly used waders, boots, rods, reels, fly lines, flies, leaders, and sunglasses. The gear will go to Community Fly Fishing, which helps make fly fishing more accessible.

If you end up not being able to get your waders fixed or find a gently used pair that tickles your fancy, feel free to check out our choices for the Best Waders of the year. You shouldnt be surprised to see Patagonia on the list.

Get Your Gear Fixed, or Just Go Hang Out If your waders need some love, check the schedule and RSVP. If you are just looking for some solid advice on gear maintenance or want to support conservation efforts, stop by anyway. Grab a free snack from Patagonia Provisions, meet some like-minded anglers, and learn how to keep your gear on the water for years to come.
