The Polaris Slingshot just turned 10 years old. Thats 10 years of offering an experience thats not quite like anything else on the market — a low-sitting driving position, three wheels, and a big four-cylinder engine. The Slingshot — like many of us with a little age — wants a little more comfort. Today, the brand delivers just that by way of the new Slingshot 10.
With a facelift, some new standard comfort features, and a few shnazzy extras, the Slingshot 10 looks like the most head-turning model yet.
Polaris Slingshot 10: All the 2025 Upgrades
(Photo/Polaris) Polaris starts the Slingshot 10 with the Slingshot R as a base. Before 10, the R was the top-of-the-line model, offering a 7.0-inch RideCommand system screen with Apple CarPlay and navigation, an integrated vehicle health monitor, and larger Brembo brakes, as well as the wider rear tire of the SLR.
The 10 comes with the changes Polaris made to the rest of the 2025 Slingshot lineup, too, including a new front end, a bit more horsepower, and a broader torque curve for the 204-horsepower 2.0L four-cylinder.
Better driveability comes to Slingshot, too, by way of new tuning for the optional AutoDrive automatic. Polaris also added an inch of front suspension clearance to make it easier to clear curbs and driveways.
More Standard Features for the 10th Anniversary
(Photo/Polaris) Back to the stuff thats new — like heated and cooled seats. Polaris offered them previously as accessories and on its RZR Pro R side-by-side, but this time, they come standard. The seats will also deliver custom colors for the special edition and 10th Anniversary logos in the headrests.
Stage 3 Max Audio from Rockford Fosgate is also standard. The 300W system is the loudest the company offers in the Slingshot, with the most bass. It has integrated headrest speakers and integrated accent lights, and automatic volume control. If thats not enough, the system is plug-and-play for an amplifier to make it even louder.
Polaris Slingshot 10: Light Up Every Ride
(Photo/Polaris) An interior light kit from XKGlow lights up the Slingshot. It has lights in the footwells, under the seats, in the side storage compartments, and on the center console. With the Slingshot LED phone app, you can set different lighting zones, set colors, and add music sync and strobe effects — while youre parked, of course.
Custom finishes like a color-matched steering wheel, cluster, and glove box help finish off the look of the special model.
Polaris will offer the special Slingshot 10 in limited numbers, but it will be available with both the manual and AutoDrive transmission. Pricing starts from $38,999, $4K more than the R. Its on its way to dealers right now.
