MKC fans have been asking for two things: a folding knife and a tactical knife. One of those requests has finally been fulfilled with the launch of the brands new tactical line. The Wargoat represents just the first of what is promised to be several knives released this year in the MKC Tactical family.
In standard MKC fashion, the Wargoat drops tonight, Thursday, July 11, at 7:00 p.m. MDT. It will undoubtedly sell out in short order. Get in the digital queue early if youre wanting one of your own.
We’re extremely proud to debut the MKC Tactical line with the introduction of the Wargoat fixed blade,” said Josh Smith, Founder, CEO, and Master Bladesmith at Montana Knife Company.
“MKC Tactical is a project that has been in development for a very long time. We have relied on guidance and feedback from active-duty military members, veterans, and law enforcement officials to create a comprehensive line of products to meet their needs.”
Building off a familiar hunting blade of choice, the brand reconfigured and bulked up a customer favorite to bring you this new battlefield-capable knife.
Lets take a quick look.

Rachelle Schrute Check Availability at MKC The Wargoat will likely look familiar to those with a growing MKC collection. It has the same blade shape as the Speedgoat, which is one of the brands most popular and versatile knives. The Wargoat blade is built from MagnaCut stainless steel with a Cerakote finish and is just slightly thicker than the Speedgoat.

It comes packed tight in a custom Kydex sheath with a deep-pocket clip.
The Wargoat is available in five different blade/handle color combinations of black, coyote brown, and OD green (my personal palette of choice).
Get It While You Can If you want to get your hands on a Wargoat of your own, just like all MKC knives, you need to be ready to hit buy now when these things drop tonight. Get online a little early, and get your finger on the trigger before they inevitably sell out. While you wait, you can always check out MKCs Tactical Apparel Lineup. Everybody needs a new hat, right?
