This week, one lucky winner will receive an exclusive Spyderco KnifeJoy Slysz Bowie Folder with an anodized blue titanium handle ($450 value) and a $500 e-card for use at KnifeJoy.com.
The Slysz Bowie is one of Spydercos more meticulously crafted models, and this exclusive version adds standout features that elevate its appearance.
More on the Prize The KnifeJoy Exclusive Slysz Bowie was designed by the Polish custom knifemaker Marcin Slysz.
The folders most defining feature is its full-flat-ground blade machined from Böhler-Uddeholm M390 particle metallurgy stainless steel. This high-performance alloy has excellent wear and corrosion resistance, yet is easy to sharpen and maintain. It performs well with coarse and polished edges alike.
Additionally, the Slysz Bowie has a refined handle. Both scales are machined from solid titanium, and the outer surfaces have slightly convex curves for a subtly comfortable grip. An anodized blue handle adds a dark contrast to the silver finishes on the hardware and reversible deep-pocket wire clip.
Lastly, the knife has a black G-10 backspacer liner and a lockbar insert/overtravel stop.
This exclusive version of the Slysz Bowie is a stunning expression of one of Spydercos most meticulously crafted models.
It ditches the carbon plate for a larger stack height and DYNEVA midsole. The mens Fortux weighs 10.9 ounces, 9.2 for the version.
